American actor and stand-up comedian Dustin diamond has died at the age of 44 after battling cancer. This was announced by representatives of the actor on his page in On Facebook.
“We are sad to confirm that Dustin diamond passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 due to cancer. Just three weeks ago, he was diagnosed with this severe, progressive form of malignant cancer.
Representatives of the actor noted that the cancer was rapidly progressing.
Dustin didn’t suffer. He didn’t have to lie there in pain.
Dustin diamond is best known for his role as Samuel Frank powers in the American teen Comedy series Saved by the Bell, which aired from 1989 to 1993. After filming the series, diamond participated in various TV shows. He starred in the 2001 crime Comedy All caught up, the Comedy Dickie Roberts: Star child (2003), and American pie 7: The book of love (2009).
